Susan Davis drives a Chevy because she was born and raised in Detroit. She’s been a public radio professional for 20 years, contributing to “Marketplace”, “Soundprint”, “All Things Considered”, “Talk of the Nation,” The National Desk at NPR, and North Carolina Public Radio/WUNC. She’s published a collection of poems, “Gathering Sound,” edited an anthology of essays by working mothers, “Searching for Mary Poppins,” and has been included in several other anthologies and literary journals. She lives in Chapel Hill, NC with her husband, two children and small dog.
