Progressive Change Campaign Committee

Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) and its nearly 1 million members and growing nation-wide believe in fighting for bold progressive change. PCCC believes it's not enough to simply agree on the issues the committee champions — heroes in Congress and candidates on the campaign trail that PCCC supports also believe in fighting for these values.

Founded in 2009 by Adam Green, a former MoveOn online organizer and Democratic party communications worker, and Stephanie Taylor, former MoveOn and SEIU organizer, the PCCC has been at the forefront fighting for progressive change ever since. The Nation magazine awarded PCCC “Most Valuable Campaign” of 2011. MSNBC’s Ed Schultz calls PCCC “the top progressive group in the country.”

PCCC and its members have taken on campaigns to save the public option as part of health reform, champion real net neutrality to keep the Internet open and free, pressure President Obama to let the Bush tax cuts expire, support Elizabeth Warren to successfully set up the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, fight to preserve and expand our social safety net including Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, work to pass Elizabeth Warren’s plan to reduce student loan debt, support bold campaign finance reform and fight for Wall Street reform and accountability

In addition to issues, PCCC helps bold progressives campaign, get elected, and bring the fighting spirit with them to Washington. PCCC endorses bold candidates, help them run efficient and effective campaigns, raise money for them through grassroots donations, and give volunteers the opportunity to help these campaigns succeed.

So far, PCCC members have done great things for candidates, such as helping Bill Halter make tens of thousands of phone calls and raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to take on Blanche Lincoln on the Arkansas Senate Democratic Primary, running the draft Elizabeth Warren for Senate campaign in Massachusetts in 2012 by raised over $1,170,000 million through over 70,000 small-dollar donations for her campaign, making over 2 million phone calls to voters in 2012  including over 574,000 calls for Elizabeth Warren and over 1 million calls in 2010 through our Call Out The Vote program, helping over 30 PCCC-endorsed candidates win their elections in 2012, raising over $1,200,000 and making over 1,000,000 calls to voters for our slate of bold progressives running for Congress in the 2014 election, helping helped 5 candidates from the “Elizabeth Warren wing” of American politics including  Ruben Gallego (AZ-7), Brian Schatz (HI-Sen), Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ-12), Mike Honda (CA-17), and Pat Murphy (IA-1) defeat more conservative opponents in tough 2014 primary battles, making over 4 million calls through our Call Out the Vote program in 2014 for progressive candidates across the country and raising nearly $1.5 million with over 97,000 small-dollar, grassroots donations.
